Every Chamber operates on Membership Dues; by joining, you are ensuring those who want information about the Higgins Lake and Roscommon area – whether they are considering a move, a visit, or simply want more information about their hometown – can call the Chamber, visit our website and/or Facebook page, and acquire the information they need about Chamber Businesses, Organizations and Services, and Events.

Many would be surprised at this answer. Calls and emails that come in are from locals and tourists looking for a business in certain industries. For example: We will get calls asking about local salon or barbershop. This gives current members an edge to be mentioned over non-members. Exclusivity for our members.

Absolutely not. We do encourage our members to volunteer with our events, board and committees as much as one can. We also do encourage sponsoring or donation due to increased exposure for your business, but we completely understand the financial burden our small community is in and how many times they are asked for donations.
