  • What is the Chamber of Commerce?

    Joining the HLRCC not only benefits your business with networking and learning opportunities, it gives you tools to help your customers find your business – and shows your support of the community.

  • Why is it important to become a member?

    Every Chamber operates on Membership Dues; by joining, you are ensuring those who want information about the Higgins Lake and Roscommon area – whether they are considering a move, a visit, or simply want more information about their hometown – can call the Chamber, visit our website and/or Facebook page, and acquire the information they need about Chamber Businesses, Organizations and Services, and Events.

  • How Do I Join?

    Joining the chamber is easy! You can click on the “Get Started” button at top of the page, or call, email, message HLRCC and request an application and membership information.

  • Who contacts a Chamber of Commerce?

    Many would be surprised at this answer. Calls and emails that come in are from locals and tourists looking for a business in certain industries. For example, we will get calls asking about local salon or barbershop. This gives current members an edge to be mentioned over non-members. Exclusivity for our members.

  • Am I required to volunteer or donate to future HLRCC events?

    Absolutely not. We do encourage our members to volunteer with our events, board and committees as much as one can. We also do encourage sponsoring or donation due to increased exposure for your business, but we completely understand the financial burden our small community is in and how many times they are asked for donations.

  • How do I participate in chamber events?

    There are a few different ways to join in chamber events. 1.) Join HLRCC as a member. 2.) Sign up for newsletter. 3.) Visit chamber website or Facebook. 4.) Contact the Chamber today!
